In just over a week, the Rancho Cucamonga Library is hosting another one of its Cultural Night events, titled ‘RC Reads: Fairy Tales Cultural Arts Night’, at the Biane Library.
The Rancho Cucamonga Library Foundation sponsors these family-friendly and educational events. Held at various times of the year, these programs have run since 2007 and offer families the opportunity to experience a diversity of arts, culture, and literature.
Last year’s RC Reads Cultural Arts Night program, ‘400 Years of Shakespeare’, was successfully received, prompting the program’s continuation this month with fairy tale classics by the Brothers Grimm and Hans Christian Anderson.
As libraries increase the activities and programs they offer, many find newsletter printing the answer to keeping the public abreast of all their local library’s functions and programs
According to Angelica Trummell, the library’s Children’s Services Supervisor, the fairy tales offer a way for families to connect with each other while exercising their imagination and learning about other cultures.
This library function will offer a variety of activities suitable for adults, teens, and younger children. Included will be Fairy Tales around the World, an Adult & Teen Trivia Challenge, as well as a STEM activity highlighted by a Castle Build.
It all takes place on April 21 from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm. Free tickets can now be obtained at the information desks of the Archibald and Biane libraries.
