This October, Hearts of Lala’s Rainbow (H.O.L.R.) will host the annual Gobble Gobble Spooktacular Car, Bike, and Truck Show in Rancho Cucamonga to help feed disadvantaged families.
H.O.L.R. is a non-profit organization focused on feeding families in financial need during the holidays. The organization also provides job placement, work training, and education to single parents, displaced workers, and individuals with disabilities. Proceeds from October's car show will go towards providing Thanksgiving meals for the local families in need. Last year the event was able to raise enough money to feed 500 families, and organizers hope to reach up to 800 families this year.
The event will be free to the public and will feature a variety of cars, motorcycles, and trucks on display. Awards will be given out to winning vehicles. There will also be food, music, and a costume contest and ‘truck or treat’ for children. The first 20 participants to send in their registration form will also receive a free lunch ticket.
