The Hamilton Family Brewery recently held a fundraiser for local kittens in care.
The City of Rancho Cucamonga Animal Care and Adoption Center’s Kitten Nursery is five years old and is run by donations from the community.
The event, called ‘Beer Kitty Kitty’, was held on Saturday, April 6 and sales from the brewery’s ‘Beer Kitty Kitty raspberry cream ale’ were collected and sent to the nursery. The beer is made with raspberry, hibiscus, and vanilla and is one of the brewery’s available ‘on tap’ ales.
Businesses often work with local Print shops to obtain Promotional Products, and fundraisers like this are an opportunity to create unique items to promote their cause and raise awareness of upcoming events that support the community.
The kittens were the stars of the day and were at the event, along with the nursery’s staff who visited with attendees while bottle feeding the young kittens, which will soon be available for adoption. The kittens need to be fed every four hours and some at the fundraiser were as young as three weeks old.
The event, which was standing room only, also provided attendees with the chance to enter a raffle, allowed children to enjoy the young animals, and enabled the animal care center to interact with locals and educate them on what they do to support the community.
