Anything on a Cookie will hold the Sand and Sugar Sugar Cookie Decorating Class next month for anyone in Rancho Cucamonga looking to up their cookie game.
The enterprise is owned by Jess, a home-based baker who makes decorated sugar cookies for customers, all made to order. Jess also hosts various cookie decorating classes throughout the year which touch upon different themes. June’s sugar cookie class will revolve around a beach theme of sand, sea, and sun.
In the two-hour class, Jess will go over the basics of sugar cookies and how to decorate them. Participants will get to practice piping with royal icing, and Jess will help them strategize over the best methods of decorating sugar cookies and explain the general concept of icing and dough. Attendees will also learn a few useful decorating techniques to use as they decorate their cookies. All ingredients and supplies will be supplied by the host, so attendees need only to bring themselves and maybe an apron.
