In August, Rancho Cucamonga parents should note that the Upland Back-to-School Bash will provide school children in the surrounding area with free school supplies.
The Upland event is open to all pre-registered students in pre-kindergarten through 8th grade, regardless of school district. Families experiencing hardship and having trouble meeting basic needs are especially encouraged to attend.
Students in pre-kindergarten and kindergarten will receive a pencil box filled with supplies, and students in 1st through the 8th grade will receive a backpack of supplies. Students must be physically present to receive the donations. The event will also feature food, music, and arts and crafts.
