Local leaders and business owners will meet in Placerville next month to generate new and exciting ideas for attracting more tourists to the region.
The 2025 El Dorado County Tourism Summit is preparing to start soon, bringing industry leaders and local professionals to come together for the 7th annual gathering. The full-day gathering hopes to inspire and inform small business owners to help them attract more shoppers and bolster the local economy.
Keynote speakers, like Carl Ribaudo and Erika Mailman, will share insights about the future of tourism to help these local businesses change their ideas and prepare for these changes. Attendees will explore the differences between each generation and their ideas of travel, behaviors, and perceptions. It is also an opportunity to learn more about the Visit California initiative and its goal of driving more tourists to the Gold Country area. Printing services are an invaluable resource for local businesses looking to benefit from the tourism boom by promoting their goods and services.
Attendees will enjoy a catered meal with the cost of admission provided by the Old Town Grill. Refreshments will also be accessible, including a wine reception sponsored by El Dorado County Wines.
The Holiday Inn Express and Suites will host the summit on Friday, January 31st, from 9:00 AM until 5:30 PM. General admission tickets are available online starting at $70 per person.
