A local school is in the early stages of organizing a golf tournament near Placerville, and area golfers will want to clean their clubs and hit the links to support the cause.
The 7th Providence Christian School Golf Tournament will open registration in the coming weeks to golfers in the area who want to participate in a friendly competition and put their skills on display. The event is open to seasoned and experienced golfers as well as individuals who are new to the sport.
Registered golfers will meet with like-minded individuals and others in the community who want to support Providence Christian School. The school has supported and worked with the surrounding community since its founding in 1978, and the tournament proceeds will directly benefit students and their families. Banner printing is an excellent way to welcome golfers and provide a backdrop with sponsor logos when awarding winners their prizes.
Attendees are encouraged to stick around after the golf tournament ends for a dinner provided by the host venue, Apple Mountain Golf Resort. A silent auction and live raffles will give golfers a chance to leave the tournament with collectibles and prizes.
The tournament will be held at Apple Mountain Golf Resort in nearby Camino on Friday, May 30th, starting at 8:00 AM. Registration is open, costs $175 per golfer, and dinner is included.
