Placerville holds sewer workshop

The city of Placerville will be holding a meeting to inform the public about the current sewer and water lines early in November for all those interested in learning about how the systems in place affect them.

The sewer and water rate workshop will discuss the current sewer and water rate study taking place, as well as the projected costs and rates for running and maintaining the sewer and water systems over the next five years.
Also on the agenda for discussion is the sales tax currently in place to help fund repairs needed for both the sewer and water system, as well as proposed sewer and water rate options, including the sewer charge discount program. It is highly recommended by the city that members of the Placerville community attend.

This workshop will be held on November 8th from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Town Hall building located at 549 Main Street. Those who attend the meeting will be able to provide their input to the city on proposed rate options and other negotiable topics. The event is free and registration is not needed.

Event Flyers with additional information about the sewer and water rate workshop can be found on the Placerville website. Further information about current sewer and water system costs and situations can also be found on the site.
