Wheelbarrow races can be a lot of fun , and a Placerville tradition will once again be taking this activity to a whole new level. The Studebaker Wheelbarrow Races are scheduled to return to the community, and all ages will be able to take part.
Winners of this annual event will earn bragging rights, and the goal is for both the contestants and the spectators to go home with smiles on their faces.
The races, which will be held in July, will have six categories, and the registrants can choose the one that is most applicable to them. One the day of the race, all of the racers will be required to wear long pants as well as suitable footwear and a shirt, and they must also be on site for the course walkthrough at 5:00 pm.
The equipment that will be used by the participants in the races will be supplied courtesy of the Kiwanis Club of Placerville, and a full listing of the rules of the event can be found on its online listing. Prize certificates, finisher's medals, and trophies printed with the function’s Logo Design can all be prepared for this sort of activity by local Print shops.
This event, which harks back to Placerville roots as a mining town, will be held in the El Dorado County Fair & Event Center on June 15. Registration will remain open until June 14.
