The Amador Four Fires Festival is being held next month for just one day.
The show is expected to feature samples of approximately 200 wines from 40 or more wineries representing California, France, Italy, and the Iberian Peninsula. In addition, several local all-star chefs will be on hand to provide unlimited food samples.
There will be several 30-minute seminars on various topics such as wine blending techniques and food/wine pairings, cooking demonstrations, and musical performances from such artists as Jesse Hendricks and Wasted Space. Guests can also sample various oils, candles, and beers at the Renwood Sensory Station.
Vendors will also be selling wine, food, and other merchandise.
VIP tickets are available, and offer early access to the event, shorter lineups, a gift pack, welcome and blending parties, a private seminar, and a separate wine tasting event. Tickets cost $125 each in advance or $155 at the gate.
This event should attract visitors from nearby communities such as Placerville. To help spread the word, organizers may have invested in poster printing services.
The Amador Four Fires Festival will be held at the Amador County Fairgrounds on May 7. General admission tickets cost $75 in advance or $85 at the gate, or $60 for designated driver. All guests will receive a souvenir wine glass. Call 209-418-5707 to find out more about this event.
