Farm-sourced dinner promotes local food near Placerville

Fans of fine dining near Placerville will want to leave space in their calendar for next month, as a farm-to-table dining experience is coming to the area.

The 2025 Apple Hill Growers’ Farm-to-Fork Dinner is preparing to welcome diners and visitors in the coming weeks to sample local cuisine and produce in an immersive setting. The food served at the dinner will come from a combination of 50 different farms in the region, while giving diners a dinner view to remember.

The evening will begin with an hour dedicated to networking, forming new friendships, and settling into the event. Guests will enjoy local hard ciders and wines to sip on, along with hors d’oeuvres to savor. Attendees are asked to drink responsibly and arrange for a designated driver. Organizers can use printing services to create single-use Menus to help diners learn more about dishes and ingredients at such events.

The meal will be prepared by Chef Russ Landers of The Hidden Table and paired with wines from local wineries, including Madrona Vineyards, Boeger Winery, and Lava Cap Winery. Local musician Pat Walsh will perform live music.

The dinner will be held at Delfino Farms Edio Vineyards in neighboring Camino on Saturday, July 12th from 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM. Dinner reservations are available online for $145.90 per person.
