December will be tamale time in Placerville

Placerville’s home chefs who want to add to their repertoire of dishes may wish to save room in their December plans for an event that will teach them how to create tasty tamales.

This hands-on culinary workshop will teach the attendees how they can make three different types of tamales, and at the end of the three-hour session, they will be able to take a dozen home with them to enjoy later. Its organizers noted that this is a very popular class, and the last one sold out in just two days.

There are 20 spaces available in this learning opportunity, and the students are welcome to bring along their own bottle of wine, beer, or even some margaritas. They can also snack on the chips, guacamole, and salsa that will be available to them while they work.

Anyone who comes to the event is asked to make sure their hair is tied back and to also wear comfortable shoes and clothing. Disposable gloves, aprons, and the recipes used will be provided to each person in the workshop. Simple recipe Books can make it possible for the participants in an event like this to keep learning even after it is over, and a printing services company will have lots of options to choose from.

This afternoon of kitchen creativity will be taking place on December 8. Its location is 6142 Crystal Blvd, Suite B in El Dorado.
