A scavenger hunt is being organized in Placerville for next month, giving area residents and visitors a fun way to support local businesses and discover new local staples.
The Boot Scoot Scavenger Hunt, which is acting as a fundraiser for Animal Outreach of the Motherlode, has announced an official date for this year’s event. The scavenger hunt aims to raise funds in support of animal welfare in the area while providing impressions and opportunities for local businesses and restaurants in Placerville to shine.
Participants will want to dust off and lace up their boots before scooting down Main Street for a fun experience that is suitable for family and friends. The hunt will lead attendees to hidden boot bouquets and into stores along Placerville’s main thoroughfare, leading to new connections. Attendees will receive a stamp on their Scoot Card with each boot that they find. The Stamps translate to raffle tickets and give each participant the chance to win prizes. The raffle will be held after the scavenger hunt comes to an end.
Ticket holders will gather at the Placerville Courthouse in downtown Placerville at 1:00 PM on Saturday, November 8th. The raffle will start at 3:30 PM. Tickets are $20 per person online.
