Annual show highlights local jewelry makers

The 7th annual Red, Whites and Jewels Show is taking place next month. The event is hosted by the Cameron Park Community Services District.

The show is set to feature a number of local and visiting vendors who will be selling their jewelry. Most of the items offered for sale will be handmade and created by artisans, while much of it will be mass-produced and offered by jewelry store owners. Regardless of where it comes from, there will be a wide variety of styles and price points available.

Space is still available for vendors who wish to offer their items for sale.

In past years, vendors have been able to fulfill special requests that shoppers have made such as jewelry in a different color or setting. No doubt, some of the sellers will offer the same at this year’s show.

In addition to shopping, visitors will be treated to wine and champagne tastings and will be served appetizers.

Many of the vendors may invest in postcard printing services in advance of the show. That way they can distribute Postcards to visitors from all over, including those from Placerville, with their contact information and a sample of their work.

The Red, Whites and Jewels Show will be held at the Cameron Park Community Center on January 28 from 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Call 530-677-2231 to learn more.
