The Community Awards of Excellence gala reception is set to take place next month.
Hosted by the Petaluma Area Chamber of Commerce, this annual event honors a number of people and businesses that have made a significant impact on the city.
In all, 12 awards will be handed out during the evening. These include Citizen of the Year, Service to Seniors, Excellence in Education, Policeman of the Year, and the Special Petaluma Inspiration Award, which this year is being given posthumously to James Forni.
The evening will start off with a cocktail reception, which will give business leaders an opportunity to network and exchange digital Business Cards. It will be followed by the awards ceremony and likely a chance for the winners to say a few words.
There will likely be many of those who are planning to attend who will need to place a new business card printing order with their favorite Petaluma printing company, since there should be plenty of time to talk business.
The Community Awards of Excellence will take place at the Sheraton Sonoma County - Petaluma Hotel on April 14 from 5:30 - 8:30 PM. Tickets are $20 each and guests must RSVP before April 11.
