Petaluma residents who fondly remember the culture associated with the 1980s have already begun clearing the Calendars for an event taking place in February. Guests can expect to experience a throwback of many of the trends that have become associated with nostalgic memories.
Petaluma Prom: A Valentine's Day Blast from the Past should appeal to anyone who grew up during the 1980s. The main intention is to recapture many of the same fashion and musical movements associated with this unique decade. Women are encouraged to adopt 1980s hairstyles, and men could likewise make it a point to don clothing inspired by the time period. However, organizers claim that the styles attributed to any decade are just as welcome.
Other attractions that the Petaluma Prom will offer include live 1980s music performed by five DJs, on-site refreshments, a cash bar, and a photo booth for those who want to snap a few pictures.
Niche events such as this will utilize equally discrete advertising techniques. Some methods may include banner printing, producing colorful Flyers, and targeting the Generation X audience.
Petaluma Prom: A Valentine's Day Blast is being held on Saturday, February 14th from 7 PM to 11 PM. Those who wish to attend are asked to arrive at the Sonoma County National Bank Building located at 199 Petaluma Boulevard North. Ticket prices begin at $40, and on-site admission will cost $50 per person.
