Petaluma seafood lovers have been invited to make plans to attend and event that will combine fresh oysters and other treats from the ocean with a chance to support local charitable initiatives.
Bodega Bay Oyster Company and the Petaluma Sunrise Rotary Club will be joining forces to host the 2018 Spring Oysterfest. The monies raised will be used to help support local families, teachers and also those who were affected by the recent forest fires that took place in the area this past fall.
Guests at the feed will enjoy both barbecued and fresh raw oysters, and linguine with red clam sauce will also be served. This will be accompanied by Cesar salad and dessert, and both local wines and Hen House beers will be on offer. While the attendees savor their meal, live music will keep them entertained.
The proceeds from the day will be used to support 5th Tuesday food distribution for area families in need, teacher micro grants and the Rotary Fire Relief Fund. All ages are welcome, including those under the age of 21. Banner printing and other Print services for this type of occasion can be sourced from a printing services professional
