For the fifth time, art, food, and community will collide at the Rivertown Revival in Petaluma.
Artists from Sonoma County will display their work during a parade. The festival has a full musical lineup featuring musicians on several different stages, a range of art boats to peruse, and local vendors will offer food and beverages.
The family-friendly event will have puppetry, face painting, crafts, and games. There will also be special resting area for guests with babies and toddlers.
Couples looking to tie the knot without breaking the bank can take advantage of the event’s $5 weddings. They can sign up at the Rivertown Revival website. Petaluma has a variety of lodging for wedding parties and other out-of-town guests.
This is a sustainable event and, while a small amount of parking will be available, guests are urged to walk or bike to the festival. In addition, there will be areas to recycle and compost waste. The event organizers are looking for vendors who are environmentally conscious. With this in mind, vendors might consider options like seeking business card printing services that use recycled paper and soy ink.
It all takes place on July 19 from 11:00 am until 8:00 pm on the McNear Pennisula, which is located along the Petaluma River. Entrance is $10 for adults and $5 for kids.
