This spring, Petaluma will once again be hosting an event that showcases locally produced artisan cheese, as well as the area’s agricultural heritage.
This will be the 11th year for the California’s Artisan Cheese Festival, which brings together cheesemakers and those who enjoy eating it and wish to learn more about it. People will be able to sample an assortment of cheese from all over the state, learn new recipes that make use of it, and also discover how to pair it with different wines, ciders, craft beers, artisan breads, and other food and beverages. In addition to all of this, there will be farm and creamery tours, book signings, a special sparkling wine brunch, and more.
According to the event’s website, one of its goals is to promote this versatile food product and to make the public more aware of how it can be used. The 11th Annual Artisan Cheese Festival, which is being hosted courtesy of Sheraton Sonoma County, will be held from March 24 until 26. Tickets are available through its website starting on January 1, and can be purchased through the event’s website.
