One of Petaluma’s popular events is set to hit the streets of the city for another year, and the public is invited to come and enjoy the fun.
The community will be hosting its annual Butter and Egg Days parade, which will be back for its 36th year. More than 110 different individuals and groups will be marching, and there will also be an assortment of activities planned throughout the day. The little ones can take part in the Cutest Lil’ Chick competition, while those who want to get “down and dirty” can try their hand at the Cow Chip Tossing Contest. There will also be refreshments and a craft area for the kids.
Before the big parade kicks off, there will be a pre-parade for the younger folk. The main event will head out from Fourth and D, circle around Petaluma Boulevard North and then wind up at Petaluma Boulevard South and D Street. Graphic design can be used by the organizers of an event like this to craft logos, promotional and marketing materials, and other items that can help to ensure it the day goes smoothly.
