Local dairy lovers are in luck, because the 9th Annual California’s Artisan Cheese Festival is coming to Petaluma later this month.
Along with plenty of sampling, attendees will be able to learn more about cheeses from experts. There will also be field trips to local farms and creameries at which participants can see cheese being made. Farm field trips cost from $85 to $135 per person. In the evening, there will be a cheesemonger competition, which costs $50 to enter.
The three-day festival will also feature seminars and cooking demos. Some of the seminars include ‘cheese and chocolate’, ‘cheese and honey’, and ‘cheese and cider’. Participants can also discover how to make cheese and learn how to pair beer and wine with this food item. Seminars cost between $65 and $95.
Books signings, a chef versus chef competition, and a special brunch are a few other highlights of the event. With all of the food being served, the event organizers may have used a Stationery printing service to make various Menus.
On the last day of the festival, individuals can take part in a grand tasting event and marketplace where attendees can purchase cheese and other items. For this event, tickets cost $45 for adults and $20 for children aged 12 and under.
