Downtown Petaluma has a lot to offer holiday shoppers, and it will be getting the party started by holding an open house.
Local merchants will be putting themselves in the spotlight when they take part in the Holiday Open House & Kentucky Street Marketplace, and a full day of activities has been planned. Individuals and families are invited to start their day with a cup of coffee or full breakfast from one of the district’s eateries, and they can then hit the shops and services and explore what’s on offer.
Once they have finished their morning meal, the public can browse through the various vendor displays in the Kentucky Street marketplace, where a wide variety of makers will have works in the mix. Live music will help to create a festive feel, with face painting also available. Santa and Mrs. Claus will be on hand for photo ops, giving parents a chance to capture their memories of the day.
