Downtown Petaluma merchants are already preparing for a Halloween-themed event at the end of October.
The establishments that have signed on to be part of the neighborhood's Trick or Treat afternoon will be handing out candy and small Promotional Products, and the activity has been timed so that the kids can enjoy shelling out before they go door to door in their own home area. It is for youngsters ages 10 and under, and a map has been prepared that shows all the stops.
The route will include Kentucky Street as well as 4th Street, Petaluma Boulevard, The River Plaza Shopping Center, and several other venues. At least 70 businesses have already signed on, and kids are encouraged to visit them in costume to collect their treats. Signage will be placed outside the participating establishments, and there may still be time for additional venues to register.
Organizing a large community event may not always be an easy task, but Print shops will be happy to come to the rescue. They can supply a wide selection of materials, and they can also be customized for Halloween or almost any occasion during the year.
Petaluma’s downtown merchants will be hosting this Halloween haunt on Tuesday, October 31. The kids are welcome to trick or treat from 3:00 pm until 5:30 pm.
