Summer is right around the corner for Petaluma, and a local community wants to kick off the season with a special event.
Rohnert Park has planned a warm welcome to the summer season, and the festivities will be organized by its Community Serves department. It will be a free activity, and it will offer fun and learning for all ages.
The day will open with breakfast burritos, and hot dogs will be served for lunch. The kids can enjoy playing in the foam and bounce castles, and as squirt guns filled with non-toxic, washable paint will be distributed to the crowd everyone should wear clothing they don’t mind getting dirty. Live music, an open gym and mini-cornhole tournament are all on the agenda and a touch a truck and summer camp demonstrations will round out the excitement. The schedule for the day runs for four hours.
