Petaluma residents can celebrate Veterans Day with a parade, airshow, and more.
The Petaluma Veteran’s Day Parade is a free event designed to honor those who have served the country. Highlights include fly overs from both vintage aircrafts and air racers. The parade itself will likely have horses, antique cars, military vehicles, floats, and marching bands. Three WWII veterans will act as the Grand Marshalls.
Prior to the start of the parade, there will be music playing. Following it, a memorial program will begin. Patriotic songs will be sung and the Pledge of Allegiance will be recited.
The parade has a rich history and is said to have officially started in 1986 when 50 veterans and a man named Julius Forcucci walked the parade route. When Forcucci passed away, the event continued and the parade grew in size. It is expected to exceed 40,000 spectators this year.

With large events like the parade, it is likely a printing company was used to make Flyers and Banners to promote the event.
