Petaluma festival to showcase locally brewed craft beers

The Rotary Club of Petaluma Valley and the Petaluma Area Chamber of Commerce will be joining forces this fall for an activity that will put a smile on the face of area craft beer fans.

The community service organizations have teamed up to present the Petaluma River Craft Beer Festival. It will be taking place in September, showcasing small batch beers, ales, stouts, lagers and other drinks, as well as bites prepared by the area's food service community.

The function will be taking place in Petaluma’s historic downtown district, and many breweries will be represented. The ticket holders will also be able to support the location’s small businesses by shopping, and anyone who would like to secure passes in advance will be able to do so.

For the safety of the guests and to make sure everyone has the experience they are hoping for, General Admission and Designated Driver tickets are on offer for the afternoon. Those who choose the General Admission pass will receive a souvenir tasting glass that boasts a special graphic design.

The Petaluma Craft Beer Fest will be giving the small batch brewing community some time in the sun on September 10. It will begin at 1:00 pm. The function's website has noted that the organizers greatly appreciate the financial and other support provided by its community sponsors.
