Petaluma residents who love freshly prepared barbecue may wish to gather their friends and family and head to a specially planned BBQ celebration that has been planned for the community.
During the Wine Country Big Q Barbecue and Festival 2017, backyard chefs from all over will be competing for the title of King of the Grill. Brewery, vineyard, and winery chefs will be going head to head to win the People’s Choice award, and the Bold Bean Challenge will also be a part of the festivities. Live entertainers will be on hand, and those who come out can enjoy the music while they fill up on samples from the different masters of the grill.
The event is open to all ages, and the ticket price includes more than a pound of barbecued foods, as well as beverage samples and a specially designed tasting glass. Items such as this can be prepared by a local producer of custom Drinkware. The sampling portion of the day is set to begin at 1:00 pm, and the organizers suggest that the public arrive as close to that time as possible to maximize the amount of food they can try.
