Petaluma event to welcomes special holiday guests
Like many “snowbirds” from the north, Santa and Ms. Claus will soon be taking a trip south to soak up some sunshine before the big night, and they will be leading a well-loved Petaluma event.
The Big Guy in Red and his wife will be travelling by tugboat up the Petaluma River to meet with local families and kick off the winter holidays. The run time for the activity is two hours, and everyone is welcome to join in the fun.
After they disembark, Santa and his missus will be spending time with the event’s younger guests so they can hear their holiday wishes and pose for photos. After the activity has drawn to a close, the organizers encourage the families to make their way to the city’s downtown where they may find lots of Shop Small Saturday bargains and other activities.
