Petaluma event to offer drive-in theater experience

A Petaluma activity that will offer the feel of an old fashioned drive-in movie will be on offer this October, and the film that will be screened is a popular ghost-themed flick.

The Sonoma-Marin Fairgrounds and Event Center will be transformed into a giant outdoor theater, and the audience will be treated to a screening of the film “Ghostbusters.” The $25 tickets are for the entire carload, and the entrance to the function will be located off Fairgrounds Drive.

Tickets for the show are being sold in advance and a digital or paper copy of the receipt must be shown to gain entry. The staff will show each driver where to park, and the concession stand will be open for the enjoyment of the guests. The diners will be asked to consume their purchases inside their own vehicle, and the event is a production of the city’s Parks and Recreation department.

For all-ages activities like this, a poster printing company can aid in advertising it in the local area. It can prepare old-fashioned cinema or other style Posters, and these may then be placed in prominent public areas in the community.

This outdoor screening of Ghostbusters will welcome those who reserve a spot on October 22, and the picture will start at 8:00 pm. The Petaluma city website offers links to purchase tickets as well as additional details about the day.
