A Petaluma area campground will be rolling out the red carpet for a celebration of the red, white and blue, and it will be a weekend filled with patriotic fun for families.
The San Francisco North/Petaluma KOA has made plans for a special 4th of July festival, and everyone who is part of the function will find plenty to see and do. Site reservations for the occasion are now available, with a busy schedule of activities.
The plans for the weekend include a site decorating contest where each camper is encouraged to show their patriotism. A foam machine and karaoke will please all ages, and the kids can cool off at a pool party, make some arts and crafts, or show off their talents in a hula hoop contest. Everyone can put their appetite to the test in a watermelon eating competition, and a local fireworks show will round out the weekend with a bang.
