Californians love their crab, and a Petaluma area winery recent found that since its last seafood feed was so popular, it had to schedule another by popular demand.
The crab that will be served during the Gloria Ferrer Caves and Vineyards will be freshly caught and hitting the diner’s plates hot from the pot. The function will be held in the establishment’s Wine Cave, and the “surf” portion of the meal will come with all the trimmings that have come to be associated with a seafood boil.
Along with the crab, the guests will be treated to artichokes, prawns, corn, onions, potatoes, and hot links as fresh baked sourdough baguettes. A wine and cheese reception will take place before the feed, and a selection of wines will be chosen to pair with the meal.
This event is open to both wine club members and the general public, and tickets can be purchased starting at $125 each. A messy meal like this often calls for napkins and even crab bibs, and these can be obtained from a Print company and printed with the customer’s choice of graphic design.
