Corn beef and cabbage is a popular St. Patrick’s Day meal, and a Petaluma area fundraiser will turn this humble dish into a community feat.
The Penngrove Community Clubhouse will be “going green” by serving as the venue for a Corn Beef and Cabbage Feed Benefit, and those who would like to take advantage of the offer can choose to eat in or have their food packed up to take home. The meals are priced at $20.00 for an adult plate and $10.00 for kids under 12, and tickets must be reserved by no later than March 14th.
Each of the meals will include cabbage, potatoes, corned beef, and carrots, and they will all be available for dining in or pick up throughout the area on its scheduled date. A no-host bar service will be on offer, and the food will be prepared by a group of community volunteers. Anyone who would like to find out more has been asked to call 707-794-1516.
Fundraisers where food is served may attract a lot of attention. A banner printing company can prepare signage to post throughout a community so that everyone knows where and when an activity like this will be taking place.
This taste of Ireland in California will be on offer on March 16th at 385 Oak Street in Penngrove. The fundraiser will start at 1:00 pm.
