Petaluma area farm to welcome pumpkin pickers

This harvest season, a Petaluma area farm will be welcoming the public for an activity that will both help them find the perfect pumpkin and also learn about the local agricultural sector.

Grossi Family Farm will be opening the gates to its Pumpkin Patch, and everyone is welcome to drop by and pay a visit to the venue. It is located on Highway 10, just outside of Novato, and there will be an assortment of activities for the public to enjoy.

The farm will offer everyone an opportunity to visit the pumpkin field so they can choose one for themselves, and they can also select one from the displays. Wagons will be provided to make it easier for everyone to haul their gourd to their vehicle, and there will be an assortment of free activities for the families to enjoy.

The location will boast a hay maze as well as a small petting zoo with farm animals, and a hay bale pyramid, games, and even a pumpkin slingshot will be set up, but there will be an additional charge to give these projectiles a try. Signage for an organized activity can be ordered from a printing services company.

Grossi Family Farm has made plans to present these pumpkin-themed days on October 1 and 5. It will open at 10:00 am on both dates.
