Petaluma activity to help residents start planting

A seed swap can benefit almost any gardener, and one of these activities will give Petaluma green thumbs a time when they can gather and share their love of home horticulture.

A community seed exchange has been organized for the Petaluma local community, and it's on offer thanks to the efforts of Petaluma Bounty Farm. It will run for two hours, and members of the public who are interested can choose to swap seeds, pick some up, or just meet and mingle with other local lovers of horticulture.

Those who are interested are invited to bring along any clean, disease-free seeds they would like to share, but this is not a requirement. To help everyone who comes out make the most of the activity, there will be UC Master Gardeners on site to offer tips and advice, as well as answer questions. Petaluma Bounty Farm will be the location for the exchange.

Events geared towards home gardeners give those who enjoy the hobby an opportunity to learn, meet others who share the interest, and also provide inspiration. A brochure printing company can prepare handouts and custom printed Envelopes to hold seeds and keep them dry, plant stakes, and produce a wide selection of other personalized materials.

This seed-centric event will take place at 55 Shasta Avenue on January 27th. It will begin at 11:00am, and all are welcome to attend.
