An evening of Octoberfest themed fun in support of local youth will soon be held in Petaluma, and the public is invited to grab their steins and gear up for a good time.
The Trevor Smith Memorial Foundation will be hosting a fundraiser that will have an emphasis on fun. The celebration will include live music as well as games to help the crowd socialize and set the tone for a relaxing time. There will also be an assortment of German inspired food on offer for those who would like a bite to eat, as well as plenty of beer to sample. According to the organizers, the tickets were sold out well ahead of time last year, and they advise those who wish to attend to purchase theirs well in advance of the date for the function. The agenda for the night also includes wine raffles and silent auction for a variety of baskets, and the monies raised will be used to help support scholarships in the arts, education, and athletics for local youth.
