Petaluma is a community that loves a good feed of crab, and local students will be the beneficiaries of a meal that will offer seafood served hot from the pot along with all of the sides that can be part of a shellfish dinner.
For more than a decade, Shoreline Acres Preschool has hosted a crab feed fundraiser, and this year, Tomales Elementary school will also be included. The monies raised will be split between both schools, and it can be a tasty way for the area to show support to local scholars.
Each guest at the function will be served a green salad as well as plenty of bread, New England-style clam chowder and also a side of pasta. For many of the diners, the crab will be the star of the show, and it will be followed with dessert. The guests can choose to enjoy their meal on site, while those who are on the go may wish to opt for the drive-thru service.
Along with the food and time spent with friends, the event will offer a chance to bid on items in a silent auction. Themed table decor can make this sort of celebration even more fun, and it can be custom designed for the occasion by a printer’s graphic design experts.
Tomales Town Hall will be welcoming crab lovers for this seafood feast on February 15. The crab will start hitting the plates at 4:30 pm.
