Classical music makes its way to Petaluma

Before ringing in the New Year, music aficionados can enjoy a classical concert.

The Petaluma Historical Museum is hosting the 6th Annual New Year’s Eve concert and gala. The Sky Hill Cultural Alliance and the Petaluma Museum Association have come together to provide this event for the community.

Musicians will play selections from Antonin Dvorak and Ludwig van Beethoven. Some of the string players in the ensemble are part of the San Francisco symphony. Complimentary cheese and wine will be served.

Today, tickets are still available for $35, but the cost goes up to $45 from tomorrow onwards. Balcony seating with drink service is $60 and increases to $70 after today too. Service fees may apply to online ticket purchases and, since the concert has sold out in the past, individuals are encouraged to purchase their tickets early.

To inform the community of this event, a postcard printing service may have been used to create a direct mailer.

The Petaluma Historical Library and Museum contains some exhibits that showcase artifacts from the 1850s. The establishment is one of three Carnegie Museums that still remain in Sonoma County, and is located on 20 4th Street in Downtown Petaluma.
