Car buffs cruise into summer

Petaluma car lovers are encouraged to be part of an event that will include a cruise-in and other fun.

Cars’ Coffee and Cruise, which is scheduled for this June, will be held at the Sonoma Marin County Fairgrounds and Event Center, and the guidelines set by the state to prevent the spread of Covid-19 will be followed. Face masks are required when not inside a vehicle, and other measures will be in place as well.

The route for the cruise portion of the day will be released at a later date, and it will be approximately 50 miles long. A food truck fair that offers drive-through dining is in the works, and the attendees are also asked to patronize local eateries if they prefer. Prizes will be awarded for Best in Show as well as Fair Choice, and many of the entries will have been manufactured before 1979.

As well as the ribbons and other prizes, the first 100 people to register a vehicle will receive a custom dash plaque to display. Corporate Gifts like these can be crafted by a Print shop, and its graphic design team will be able to prepare a special look for this type of item.

Local gearheads will want to flock to 175 Fairgrounds Drive for this event on June 27. Everyone who would like to participate is asked to have their vehicle on site by 12:00 noon.
