Resort to host Independence Day party and barbecue
The Meritage Resort and Spa in Napa is hosting a ‘Red, White, and BBQ’ to celebrate Independence Day, providing two days of activities.
On Independence Day, there will be a ‘glamping party’. Using the barbecue, the resort’s chefs will put on cooking presentations. There will also be games, such as a balloon toss and a dunk tank. Guests can enjoy a barbecue lunch, live calypso music, and a raffle. At night, there will be several places to view fireworks and the resort will also provide a shuttle for those who want to see the pyrotechnics in downtown Napa.
Following Independence Day, guests can attend the ‘pool party’ where they relax poolside while sipping on drinks and enjoying more barbecued fare. The pool overlooks the establishment’s vineyard.
The ‘glamping party’ will kick off on July 4 and run from 2:00 until 5:00 pm. For this event, tickets cost $65 for adults or $120 for a twosome. Children aged 12 and under cost $25.
The ‘pool party’ will take place on July 5 from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm. Attendance is free for hotel patrons, although food and other refreshments cost extra. During the festivities, rates are $349 each night, plus additional fees.
Located at 875 Bordeaux Way, the resort is likely to have asked a postcard printing company to create a mailer to send out to locals.
