Napa to wish area winery a happy anniversary
A Napa area winery will soon be celebrating 40 years of production, and it has issued an invitation to wine lovers to join in the festivities.
Grgich Hills Estate will be marking the occasion with an open house, and the public is invited to learn more about how it crafts the wines it produces. It will also be the debut for the estate’s Ranch House expanded tasting area, which features a lawn and patio where guests can sip wine surrounded by the vineyards where the grapes that it was made from grew. It will also give them an opportunity to sample the dishes prepared using the facility’s new mobile pizza oven.
Those who come for the day will be able to take a self-guided tour of the winery, including areas where the public is usually not permitted to enter, such as the production area and cellar. Each location will have a station set up where guests can sample both library and current release wines, as well as an assortment of small bites. Signs and other printed materials for a day like this can be supplied by an area printing services provider.
Rutherford’s Grgich Hills Estate, which is located at 1829 St. Helena Highway will be hosting this celebration on July 29, and more information about the event can be found on the Visit Napa Valley website.
