What's Happening in Napa, CA…

Napa makers market to welcome one and all

An open air summer market gives residents and crafters a chance to connect, and one of these events will welcome Napa shoppers this August.

A curated selection of makers will be displaying their works during the city’s Open Air Artisan Faire, and everyone will be able to browse and buy at the vendor booths. Many of the handcrafted pieces will also be eco-friendly. The whole family is welcome, including pets.

While people browse through the booths, meeting the makers as they go, they will be treated to live music and other entertainment. As it will take place outdoors, they can enjoy the fresh air and sunshine, and will also be able to purchase food and drinks from local eateries and wine bars. The brick-and-mortar market will also be open for business, where shoppers will find at least 100 additional vendors.

Admission to this function is free of charge, and it offers a fun way to support the area’s artistic community. Along with a chance to market their works to the public, a function like this offers these creators a way to share their contact details, and business cards can make doing so a lot easier.

The Napa Makers Market will be held on August 21 at 1300 1st Street, and everyone is encouraged to come out and sport their local artisans. It will be open for shoppers at 11:00 am.
