Napa 'hoppy' to visit wineries
Wine lovers in Napa can visit a variety of wineries in the area for a special upcoming event.
The Crusher Wine District is hosting a wine hopper weekend. During this two-day event, attendees can enjoy a holiday wine hunt in the southern part of Napa.
The event will begin at the Meritage Resort and Spa. After checking in, guests can jump on a shuttle that will take people to various wineries nearby. Shuttles will also be available to return to the resort.
Around 10 different wineries will be participating, including Spelletich Family Wine Company, the Wine Foundry, and J. Moss Wines. Once at the wineries, guests will be treated to tasting flights and food. Guests will also be able to talk with the vintners and get a little ‘behind the scenes’ information on the wine-making process. Stationery printers were likely asked to create elegant tasting menus for the participants.
Tickets are available online. A one-day pass costs $50 per person, while a two-day pass costs $75 per person. Attendees can also purchase a prix fixe lunch for $24 or a boxed lunch for $10. Resort accommodations are extra.
