Napa foodies to enjoy lobster feast
An event that combines West Coast wines with East Coast shellfish is right around the corner, and Napa foodies may want to reserve their seat now.
The arrival of August will see Meritage Resort and Spa hosting a Lobster Feed, and this East Coast specialty will be paired with all the usual sides. It will be a casual occasion, with everyone encouraged to use their fingers to enjoy the food.
The menu for the occasion includes lobster as well as onions, corn, potatoes, artichokes and prawns, which will all be cooked and seasoned using a traditional herb blend. This will be paired with freshly baked baguettes for dipping in the lobster pot liquor, and each group will have its own table. Live music and dancing will round out the evening, and tickets start at $225 each. The function is for adults only.
