Napa families invited to special event
Napa families who had a baby born in 2022-2023 at Providence Queen of the Valley Medical Center will soon be returning for a special event.
Early October will see families take part in the “Seas the Day” celebration, and in keeping with the theme of the occasion, everyone is asked to wear an under-the-sea ensemble. The hospital welcomes approximately 700 babies each year, and they are all welcome.
The event will be filled with activities such as pony rides and special play areas just for babies and toddlers. Older siblings are also encouraged to attend, and food will be served. The venue is the only hospital in Napa County that has an intensive care nursery and also a maternity unit. The festivities will recognize this and celebrate the relationship between the staff and with the families who utilize its services.
Anyone who would like to join the fun has been asked to submit their RSVP to 707-251-1354 by September 21. Promotional pens and other swag items for a community event can be prepared by a local print shop, and these may be printed with a facility's logo design.
