Napa event to celebrate classic vehicles
Downtown Napa has plans to host a summer celebration that will showcase classic cars, and the public is welcome to come and view the vintage vehicles that will be on display.
The community will be hosting a show and shine, which will be followed the next day by a full car show. The public is invited to come and browse through the entries. The show and shine, which will take place during the evening before the main event, will see more than 150 vehicles participating, and there will also be live music along with beer, wine, and food.
The next day, the main car show will be held. More than 400 pre-1976 vehicles will be on display, including both hotrods and classic vehicles. This event is open to all ages, and admission to both is being offered on a free of charge basis. It is being brought to the community courtesy of the support of Napa Valley Cruisers and Downtown Napa. Entries from those who wish to show their car or other vehicle are still being accepted. A portion of the day’s proceeds will be donated to a local not-for-profit group, and each participant will receive a goody bag filled with promotional products.
It will all take place on the weekend of August 18 and 19. More information and a registration form can be found on the DoNapa website.
