Napa area to step up in support of animals
Napa Humane provides all sorts of animals with care, protection, and a place to call home, and a fundraising walk that will both begin and end in Yountville will support its work.
The fundraisers in the 12th annual Walk for Animals will be joining others who would like to do a good turn for pets and other creatures in need. Its organizers explained that even though it will follow a short route, it will go a long way towards ensuring Napa Humane has the resources it needs for its daily activities.
The registrants will meet up at the staging area set up in Yountville Community Park, and it will offer a tour of the community. Everyone will receive a goodie bag filled with specially selected promotional products, and they will also have the option to go home with a T-shirt printed with a graphic design that may help to raise even more awareness of the cause.
Along with the other perks offered to the walkers, there will be contests, a raffle, and lots of photo ops. Pets are welcome, but they will need to be leashed and well behaved.
This chance to take steps in support of Napa animals in need will hit the road at 9:00 am on August 6. Registration will open at 8:00 am.
