Napa afternoon planned with girls in mind

A national level program that gives girls a chance to grow, learn, and explore has planned an open house activity for Napa, and it will introduce youngsters to what Girls Scouts is all about.

The community’s Kennedy Park will be the location for this afternoon activity, which will be a carnival-style occasion. Games and other fun are on the agenda, and admission is free.

The afternoon is intended for those who are not yet part of the program but would like to be, and each attendee will need to be accompanied by an adult. Everyone is asked to sign their daughter up in advance, as this will aid the planners in preparing for the experience, and they should also bring some bottled water.

One ticket is required per household, and siblings are welcome to attend together. A brochure printing company will be able to prepare informational materials to hand out during a special activity, and these may include full-color photos and other graphic design elements.

Kids from grades K to 5 are invited to enjoy this day planned with them in mind. It will be held on June 17 and has a scheduled kick off time of 2:00 pm. The fun will keep on going until it draws to a close at 5:00 pm. Questions can be directed to the host at dlockhart@gsnorcal.org.
