What's Happening in Napa, CA…

Country fair to add to summer fun

The Napa Town and Country Fair is taking place next month for five days. The theme of this year’s event is ‘Red, White and Ewe’.

The fair will feature plenty of livestock and competitive exhibits. There will be competitions for both adults and juniors in topics such as arts and crafts, floriculture, professional arts, 4-H, and livestock. There will also be carnival rides with a special area for the younger children called the Cub County Zone. Wristbands for unlimited rides cost $32 each.

Musical performances from artists such as America, War, Morris Day and the Time will take place on the plaza stage, while the bandstand stage will feature acts like Chicago the Tribute and The Spazmatics.

Vendors will be on hand to showcase and to sell their latest products. Concessions will also be selling a variety of carnival-type foods and drink. There will be several shows in the livestock arena too.

In order to advertise events such as these, Napa stationery printers are often asked to provide programs or brochures that can then be distributed in the community.

The Napa Town and Country Fair will be held at the Napa Valley Exposition from August 10 to 14. Tickets are $10 for adults in advance or $13 at the gate, $7 for seniors or $10, and $50 for a five-day pass. Call 707-253-4900 for more information.
