Annual parade set to attract visitors from all over Napa Valley
The 20th annual Calistoga Lighted Tractor Parade and Holiday Village is taking place for two days this month.
The parade will travel down Lincoln Avenue, is expected to feature more than 60 participants, and will include tractors, floats, antique trucks, and farm equipment. In addition to the parade, many downtown stores, in order to attract customers, will be offering cookies, hot cider, and other drinks, and carolers will also be entertaining shoppers.
The next day, the celebrations move to the Napa County Fairgrounds for the Calistoga Christmas Faire. This event will have something to appeal to everyone in the family. There will be a breakfast with Santa Claus and pictures, the Holiday Baked Good contest, cookie decorating demonstrations, and kids' craft tables.
More than 30 vendors will also be on hand to sell items suitable for gift giving. The Valley Fire Volunteers will be providing gift wrapping, with proceeds going to help fire victims, and they will also accept donations of children's pajamas.
