Annual awards luncheon sells out early
The 127th annual meeting and awards luncheon of the Napa Chamber of Commerce is taking place this month.
While the event itself is sold out already, nominations are still open and will be accepted until this Friday, January 8.
The categories for which awards will be handed out for 2015 are Business of the Year (small and large), Customer Service Person, Ambassador, Member and Citizen of the Year (for which last year's winner was Mayor Jill Techel). The installation of the 2016 Board of Directors for the Chamber will also be taking place, attendees will have the opportunity to thank the members of the outgoing board.
This is an important networking event for Napa business leaders, and no doubt most of those attending will be bringing their premium business cards.
There will be plenty of opportunities before, during and after lunch to talk about business and to exchange cards. Guests will have the chance to find out what the winners may have done differently to them, and possibly seek to develop business partnerships with some of them.
